Louis is a Year 3 at our school and he has Type 1 Diabetes. He has to monitor his insulin levels often and throughout the day and be medicated as needed. Louis now has the opportunity to have a pump that would do all of this for him and make life much easier. Unfortunately the cost for the pump alone is $10,000 and then an ongoing cost of $300 per month and there is no government subsidy....
Royal Oak Primary wants to support the fundraising project for Louis to enable him to have the freedom of other children at our school.
Mrs Bruce has therefore organised a mufti day for Friday 3rd June called 'Lines for Louis'. Please come to school wearing lines, checks or stripes and bring a donation to help the fundraising.
